This Czech-language mathematics workbook for first-year primary school is part of a set of five workbooks designed to practise the curriculum at school or for revision at home. It is not tied to the SPN mathematics textbook for the first year of primary school. The workbook contains both simple and more demanding exercises, practising basic mathematical skills while often requiring logical reasoning to determine whether statements are true and justify the choice. It also develops critical thinking, digital competence, financial literacy and fine motor skills. Geometry receives attention through exercises on finding symmetry, distinguishing plane and solid shapes, and finding ones way around them. Fairy-tale themes help explain the mathematical content, and the workbook concludes with a board game that encourages independent expression and analysis of the pictures used in the game.
