This hybrid German-language edition includes a printed licence key for access to the digital text and audiobook on the allango learning platform. In an Amsterdam annex in summer 1942, the Jewish Frank family hides from the Nazis. Anne Frank confides her observations, thoughts and feelings to her diary as if to her best friend, describing life in hiding, the constant danger of discovery or bombing, family arguments and the confusion of growing up. She continues to hope for rescue until the family is discovered and taken to a concentration camp, where Anne dies shortly before the end of the war in spring 1945. This edition was developed in cooperation with the Anne Frank Fonds Basel.
