arovn housliky Janouch Jaroslav (2011)

This collection of original fairy tales by Jaroslav Janouch mainly follows poor children who overcome their circumstances through hard work and good character. As in traditional fairy tales, they also receive help from magical beings such as good fairies, an enchanting grandmother and storybook animals, as well as from magical objects including living bread rolls, a magic spring and enchanted violins. The stories draw on the lessons and inspiration of folk tales rooted in Czech traditions.
