Amy Winehouse – In Her Words Winehouse Amy (2023)

Amy Winehouse: In Her Words shines a light on the remarkable writing talent, wit, charm and zest for life of the global icon, six-time Grammy winner and headline-maker. Much has been said about Amy Winehouse since her tragic death at the age of 27, but this intimate tribute offers insight into the real Amy through her previously unseen journals, handwritten lyrics and family photographs, brought together for the first time. It traces her creative development from growing up in North London to achieving global superstardom, revealing the girl who became a legend. The Estate of Amy Winehouse donates 100% of the advance and royalties it receives from the production and sale of the book, net of agency fees, to The Amy Winehouse Foundation, with a minimum donation of GBP70,000. The funds support the charitys work helping young people manage their emotional wellbeing and make informed life choices, including addiction recovery housing for young women, resilience-building programmes in schools, and music therapy programmes for children with special educational needs and life-limiting conditions.
