Ale i tak Tetk Michael (2025)

In this Czech-language book, Michael Tetk explores several subjects that he has encountered repeatedly in life and that books often describe with deep expertise, seriousness and elevated language. He approaches them in an entirely different, personal way: he begins poetry with a rude little rhyme, music with a French horns failure in the New World Symphony, and architecture with a rolled-up sheet of paper. He notices arts inconspicuous points of contact with people, the people who bring these subjects into our lives, and the stories connected with them. The book offers fresh and unusual perspectives on the background of creativity and writing, how a work comes into being and affects us, what traces it leaves, how we can perceive it and what it can give us.
