After Todd Anna (2019)

Tessa is a good girl with a sweet, reliable boyfriend back home, clear ambitions and a mother determined to keep her on the right path. But when she moves into her freshman dorm, she meets Hardin, a tattooed young man with tousled brown hair and a cocky British accent. He is rude, even cruel, yet something about his dark mood draws her in. Their first kiss awakens a passion Tessa has never known, while Hardin repeatedly calls her beautiful, insists he is not right for her and pushes her away. Although his reckless treatment hurts her, Tessa feels compelled to look beneath his lies and discover the real Hardin. As he pulls her in and she struggles with her own wounded pride and his prejudice against nice girls like her, Tessa begins to wonder whether what lies between them could be love. The novel is the basis for the major motion picture available on Netflix.
