Adolf Kolnsk – esk dozorce ve slubch gestapa Neas Jaroslav (2017)

This Czech-language monograph presents Adolf Kolnsk (19051973), the prison guard Koln remembered by older generations as the courageous figure in Julius Fuks Report from the Gallows. Was he truly the legendary hero portrayed by Communist historiography? The book portrays him as an ordinary man, tracing his career from its beginnings through the frequent interrogations by members of the State Security at the end of his life. The author describes his long journey through Gestapo prisons across the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia to his trial before the Extraordinary Peoples Court in Hradec Krlov.
