A Soul as Cold as Frost Kropf Jennifer (2022)

The Quarrel of Sword and Bone is a death sentence for anyone who enters the arena with a deranged queen whose soul has long since crisped to frost. Sixteen-year-old Helen Bell knows tragedy better than most. After an encounter leaves her able to see an invisible species walking among us, and a young, handsome Winter guardian comes to her aid, the holiday legends she heard as a child begin to haunt her. As magical events enter her daily life and a train horn calls to her from across the city, Helen finds herself caught in a war between good and evil. Jennifer Kropfs debut novel is ideal for fans of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Harry Potter, and The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
