SEAL-DO Washi Tape – Shinzi Katoh – Yamanashi – 27mm

SEAL-DO Washi Tape – Shinzi Katoh – Yamanashi (Wild Pear) – 27mm

Shinzi Katoh is a picture book author, illustrator, and designer for everyday lifestyle items such as shoes, clothes, jewelry, and stationery. Here, Katoh has taken the works of novelist and children’s poetry writer Kenji Miyazawa and spun them into the fantastical scenes that you see unravelling on this beautiful washi tape. This washi tape is inspired by Miyazawa’s short story “Yamanashi” which is about two crab brothers observing life as a fish is eaten by a kingfisher, and when a pear bobs in the water.
