Hrob Sigurdardttir Yrsa (2024)

A group of former university dormitory roommates travels to the Westman Islands to say a final farewell to a friend who was part of their group. What is also meant to be a friendly reunion after many years suddenly turns into a terrifying game with death, as the consequences of a long-forgotten wild celebration resurface. Two bodies are found on a stony beach by the sea, near a newly renovated lighthouse keepers cottage. The police send Idunn, Tra and Kar to investigate a case in which nothing seems to make sense, while a fierce wind that has halted air traffic shows no sign of abating. The second book in the thrilling Black Ice series takes place on the windiest site in Europe, the Westman Islands, and focuses on pathologist Idunn, who comes from there. The unconventional forensic doctor must face challenges in her hometown that are not only professional. The book is in Czech.
