Heart of the Raven Prince Odette Tessonja (2025)

This standalone fairytale retelling of Cinderella combines slow-burn romance, fake engagements and snarky fae royals. Prince Franco must marry a princess to prove himself a worthy heir to the Lunar Court throne, but after numerous unsatisfying trysts he has given up on love and will do anything to avoid a royal wedding. Ember Montgomery longs to escape her conniving stepfamily. When the chance to evade her scheming stepmother appears, she agrees to impersonate the arrogant princes newest flame, despite the price it demands. Bound by a bargain, Ember must pose as a princess until midnight at the full moon ball, wearing a glamour and pretending to court the prince. As feelings develop on both sides, she begins to wonder whether their contrived courtship is more than either of them planned. The novel is set in the same world as The Fair Isle Trilogy and can be read independently as part of the Entangled with Fae series, in any order.
