Zelen svatoz – Kapitoly z ekologick etiky Kohk Erazim (2023)

Erazim Kohks acclaimed book makes an important contribution to the discussion of ecological ethics. It begins by examining humanitys relationship with other inhabitants of the Earth, the animals, in all its cruelty, tenderness and ambiguity. From this analysis, the author moves to a consideration of humanitys relationship with nature as a whole, guiding readers through contemporary ideas about nature and its value. The book also provides an overview of ecological activism strategies, including subjectivising approaches such as practical flannel activism and deep ecology, as well as objectivising approaches that seek the roots of the crisis in the objective conditions of life on Earth, including the GAIA theory, sociobiology and systems theory. The final chapter presents the authors personal views and convictions.
