LODNICE GDASK: Dny zatk Jacobsov Anne (2026)

Gdask, 1860. Young Johanna Berend remorsefully knocks on the door of the patrician house on Long Street. Several months earlier, she ran away with a young, gifted pianist, and now she wants to return to her family. But she is shocked to learn that her beloved father has died. Her domineering older brother Theodor is now head of the merchant house. The only way out of her desperate situation seems to be marriage to Berthold Forster, a kind-hearted shipbuilder considerably older than her. Johanna is fascinated by his work and urges him to establish a shipyard. She gradually takes over its management, much to the displeasure of Pawl, Forsters son from his first marriage.
