Povdn o pejskovi a koice apek Josef (2024)

This Czech-language childrens book tells cheerful stories about two inseparable friends, a dog and a cat, who run their household together and get involved in all kinds of other adventures. Generations of readers have enjoyed the tales of how they washed the floor, baked a cake, or how the dog tore his trousers and the cat repaired them with a rainworm. Josef apeks gentle humour, which playfully targets small childhood faults, his understanding of childrens way of thinking and his beautiful, heartfelt language make this a timeless favourite.
