ja a arovn semnko Zichov Monika (2025)

This Czech-language book follows the lightly fairy-tale story of a girl named ja and two friends. Their secret, involving a found seed, gradually grows into a holiday adventure woven with dreams and fairy tales. Collage illustrations encourage a creative approach with an ecological theme, using old calendars and magazines in their creation. The stories introduce topics for discussion, including clean water, friendship and life in the forest, and the book can also serve as educational reading for primary school pupils. At the end, readers find explanations of unfamiliar expressions, along with information about entering an art competition to win the next volume. This is the first book in the series, followed by ja and the Naughty Mirror and ja and the Flying Carpet.
