Kiss Of The Basilisk Straube Lindsay (2026)

This English-language dark romance follows twenty-year-old Temperance Verus, who has never been kissed. Along with thirteen other contestants, she must train with a basilisk to master the power of seduction and win the princes hand in marriage. When she is paired with Caspen, the Serpent King, she begins to believe she has a chance, but rising tensions between basilisks and humans pull her in two directions. As her bond with Caspen deepens, so does her connection with the prince, and a terrible secret about the royal family leaves her caught between two worlds, neither of which she can survive without. The story combines witty banter, dangerous attraction and explicit fantasies in a deliberately outrageous, blush-inducing adventure.
