This multifaceted reflection on the reality of war portrays a world in which language and everything around us are falling apart. Ukrainian poet Daryna Hladun works with fragments, repetition and a collage of voices. The motif of the radio as a constant stream of news becomes an image of information noise and collective memory. The poems capture war, migration and the loss of home, while personal experience continually intertwines with history. The author disrupts conventional ways of storytelling and creates tension between what is said and what remains unspoken. This urgent and formally striking poetry reflects the wounds caused by war.
