Zahrdky – Pe o ivot v pedivu msta (2026)

This Czech-language book focuses primarily on allotment gardening in garden colonies, which have been part of European cities for 150 years and remain widespread across the continent. These colonies are a long-standing, though changing, and ordinary feature of evolving cities. Allotments and entire garden colonies represent spaces characteristic of the modern European city, making them a useful way to examine in depth the relationship between the city, urban life and nature, as well as how these relationships change over time.
