Wren in the Holly Library (2025)

Street thief Kierse steals from a monster and becomes trapped in a library with Graves, a being of terrible power and darkness. Rather than kill her, he offers her a job and a chance to discover who she really is. By trespassing, Kierse has broken the fragile peace treaty between monsters and humans, but old tales suggest there are worse things in the world than monsters, including a threat more ancient than legend, Graves himself, and Kierse herself. K. A. Lindes dark romantasy series opener is loosely inspired by Beauty and the Beast and set in an alternate-day New York where monsters live among humankind and ancient secrets threaten to destroy everything. It features forced proximity, enemies to lovers, Celtic mythology, heists, a tortured hero and more. The book is in English.
