Hawk Is Dead James Peter (2026)

When the Royal Train carrying Queen Camilla to a charity event in Sussex is derailed, the police initially believe it is a planned attack, especially after a trusted aide is shot dead by a sniper. Roy Grace, however, is not convinced that the Queen was the intended target. Facing scepticism from his colleagues and the Palace, he pursues his own investigation, but a second murder raises the stakes and leaves him in danger of a very public catastrophe. With time running out before the killer strikes again, Grace confronts his most difficult case yet.
