Bl most Havlk Marek (2026)

A search for a dangerous man leads British inspector Elizabeth Ainsley to Athens. As a wave of migration paralyses Europe and the Islamic State consolidates its power in the Middle East, Ainsley obsessively hunts her nemesis, the terrorist Thomas Metzinger. After months of fruitless searching, a clue finally emerges from Athens. A Jordanian intelligence agent has Metzingers symbolic language carved into his left arm and claims to have met a divine messenger of the end of the world. He believes he must atone for his sins before the world is consumed by hellfire. Ainsley is less frightened by religious fanaticism than by Metzingers biological weapons, which in the hands of the Islamic State would bring about a genuine apocalypse. She does not know that something even more terrifying is hidden in the depths of the Iraqi desertsomething that exceeds the evolutionarily determined boundaries of human consciousness and opens gates into the very depths of hell. Marek Havlks new thriller about the darkest corners of the human mind is once again gripping. Athens and Iraq conceal answers to many unanswered questions. Terrifying and incredibly suspenseful.
