Witch Hat Atelier 3 (2019)

The third volume of a beautifully illustrated story about Coco, a girl who longs for magic and learns that, inside, she already is what she wishes she could be. Reminiscent of Studio Ghibli, this richly drawn manga was voted one of the Japanese manga industry’s top 10 manga of 2018. In a world where everyone takes wonders such as magic spells and dragons for granted, Coco has a simple dream: she wants to be a witch. But everyone knows that magicians are born, not made, and Coco was not born with the gift for magic. She has resigned herself to an unmagical life until a travelling magician passes through her village, and Coco discovers that what everyone knows may not be true.
