This 180-gram LP presents Bra Basikov and Precedenss breakthrough 1988 album, a landmark of 1980s music built around a synth sound and a powerful voice. Founded in 1982, Precedens passed through several stages before arriving at this debut album in its classic lineup. After dark singer-songwriter material with Jan Sahara Hedl and the intellectual irony of Lumr Tuek, bandleader Martin Nmec fully embraced synthesizers alongside Bra Basikov. The groups original club appearances developed into major concerts, where atmospheric music was enhanced by visual elements and many themes reached pop appeal without calculated effort. Songs such as ern bohyn, Doba ledov and Dv vlka achieved unconventional hit popularity. With its doubled keyboards, the lineup created an almost neo-romantic synth atmosphere without losing the role of the guitar. Martin Nmecs music and lyrics were given a dramatically compelling interpretation by Bra Basikov, then and now one of the most important female voices on the Czech music scene. This reissue features reconstructed artwork with lyrics and a stylish CD bonus.
