Ideln as se nezblznit – CD

Michal Horks third studio album contains fourteen carefully selected original songs produced by Filip Vlek and songwriter Jenda Vvra. The recordings feature a rich and distinctive sound created with keyboard player Jan Steinsdrfer, violinist Adam ernk, double bassist Milo Klpt, drummer Jan Nikendey and Hork himself. The songs follow the tradition of Czech singer-songwriters, while occasionally revealing Horks interest in music theory, most clearly in V harmonii. His characteristic humour runs throughout an album that is balanced in its instrumentation, lyrics and production, with potential hits including Nen to divn. Further listening brings new details to the foreground, revealing a mature and assured work in which every note has its place.
