Barvy – CD

Marta Jandov releases her first solo album, Barvy, in the pop-rock style closest to her heart. A majority of the songs are co-written by Jandov, who is also the sole lyricist of the entire repertoire apart from the bonus track kol m by Marek Ztracen. The album was recorded at Propast studio with producer Luk Pavlk and Jandovs backing band, featuring guitarist Ondej Ptek, bassist Dalibor Mucha and keyboardist Jan Zlatuka; Pavlk also played the drums. The final mix was completed in Germany by Udo Rinklin, who has worked with Die Happy and other successful artists, mainly from German-speaking countries. The record includes prominent songs such as ern i bl, Milovat, Kdla and Cesta kolem svta, as well as emotional ballads including Barvy and Zsta tu se mnou. The closing rock composition Strach is Jandovs musical tribute to her favourite singer, Chris Cornell. The album also features the song kol m, whose video had reached 1.5 million YouTube views when the album was released.
