Atentt na Reinharda Heydricha – 2 CDmp3 (te Frantiek Kreuzmann)

This Czech-language audiobook presents Miroslav Ivanovs detailed literary reconstruction of the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich, carried out by Czechoslovak paratroopers on 27 May 1942. The unabridged account, read by actor Frantiek Kreuzmann, describes the courageous operation, its background and remarkable circumstances, as well as the bravery of the ordinary Czech people involved in the domestic resistance, without whose help the assassination could not have taken place. The story of this heroic act, which triggered brutal reprisals by the Nazi regime, is one of the most widely read works by the major Czech author of factual literature. The audiobook is based on one of the best-known Czech books about the assassination of Heydrich.
