Salto Mortale – CD

This CD reissue presents Arakains fourth studio album, Salto Mortale, originally released in 1993. The legendary Czech metal bands move towards a more modern, heavier heavy-metal sound marked an important development in its music. Produced by Milo Dodo Doleal, the recording became one of the pillars of the Czech metal scene of the 1990s. A new remaster from SONO Records highlights its energy, dynamics and sophisticated arrangements without losing the character of the original recording. The album features songs that have become firmly associated with Arakain and Czech rock, including Zase sp v noci sama, Marilyn, the title track and Brna iluz. Ale Brichtas powerful vocals, the distinctive guitars of Ji Urban and Miroslav Mach, and the solid rhythm section of Zdenk Kub and Marek eulka show why the album remains one of the high points of Arakains work. The tracklist includes Brna iluz, Ultraparoh, Rm kivejch zrcadel, Zase sp v noci sama, Kleptoman, Gambler, Jen jednou, Salto Mortale, Marilyn and Strnem.
