Baziliek – CD

Divokej Bill celebrates 25 years with its eighth studio album, and the band is still performing at full strength. Six years after the release of Tsunami, Baziliek presents twelve new recordings created over several years and tested at the bands many concerts. The songs were recorded from last summer until the present day at SONO Doup Records. The album offers Divokej Bill in the style their many fans know and love, with strong melodies, singalong choruses and a semi-acoustic sound, sometimes enhanced by prominent electric guitar from frontman Vaek Blha, who describes the new record as a return to the bands roots. The film song Temn krl first appeared at the end of 2022 in the fantasy fairy tale Princezna zaklet v ase 2, while the albums release is accompanied by the unusual love ballad Lahdky as a radio single. Vaek Blha is the principal songwriter and also serves as producer, with Temn krl written by guitarist Roman Prochzka. The tracklist includes Bc ps, Nostalgie, Magistrla, Lahdky, Baziliek, Snn, Maratn, Svt, Temn krl, Soudci, Dv kola and Svoboda.
