This Czech-language audio collection brings together magical fairy tales read by acclaimed actors. Aa Geislerov reads Josef apeks Tales of a Dog and a Cat, a chapter from Astrid Lindgrens Pippi Longstocking and Andersens The Little Match Girl. Barbora Polkov reads the opening chapters of Peter Pan, Vclav Jlek performs Jan Drdas The Princess Jasnnka and the Flying Shoemaker, Jakub Pracha reads a tale from Jan Werichs Fimfrum, Ji Such z Tbora reads Karafits Fireflies, and Patrik Drgel tells the story How the Wasp Marcelka Was Glad to Be. The selection includes gentle and sad, ironic and warm, rough and delicate stories that influenced the performers during their childhood and that they now joyfully pass on to new generations.
