Na vlnch odvahy a dobrodrustv – CDmp3

This Czech-language audio collection presents fantastic stories by legendary adventurer and traveller Otakar Batlika, performed by Jakub Albrecht, Mirek ern, Michal Koch, Robert Tamchyna and Ondej Vetch. To mark the anniversary of Batlikas birth, it follows the 2016 collection Pbhy odvahy a dobrodrustv with a new selection of stories from the authors manuscripts, alongside recordings of adventure tales originally published in Mlad hlasatel. Batlika draws not only on his experiences as a globe-trotter and on the stories of people he met during his travels, but also on his imagination and dreams. The heroes include a young girl whose photograph helps uncover a crime, a boy who plays the violin brilliantly for train passengers, young adventurers facing unexpected and extraordinary experiences, and polar explorers stranded on an ice floe. Batlikas adventurous writing has captivated generations of enthusiastic admirers, many of whom include the performers of these stories.
