Moc to neprovej! – LP

This Czech-language pop-rock album presents Martin Vajgl, known as the drummer of bands including Vltava, echomor and Olympic, as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Without the burden of a solo ego or a need to assert himself at all costs, he offers ten original songs ranging from energetic guitar-driven tracks and near-folk songs to rhythmic experiments and pop hits such as Jedu autem. The candid lyrics reflect his view of lifes various pitfalls, while the music retains a natural melodic quality, unpretentious everyday expression and appealing stylistic variety. Vajgl recorded most of the album himself, joined by guitarists Norbi Kovcs and Ondej Ptek, singers Tereza Chovtov and Hana Kosteleck, and his Olympic colleague Pavel Bezina on backing vocals. The tracklist comprises Moc to neprovej, Jedu autem, Vci, kter pochopit nejdou, Kdy byla mal dt, Nejsem to j, Svt u nestoj o nic, Prorok, Nikdy nezaho lsku, Zvje and Co se nese vtrem.
