Lordi – CDmp3

This Slovak-language MP3 audio recording presents the successful theatre play The Lords, based on correspondence between Oscar Wilde and Robbie Ross. It was released to mark the 15th anniversary of the highly successful production, which was originally translated only into Slovak; the actors continued performing it in Slovak because they felt that a Czech translation would lose some of its charm. This spicy salon comedy follows three lords who secretly play a delicate game, dividing the ladies in their circle among themselves and awarding one another red and black points for their successes or failures with them. One day, however, one of the lords breaks the rules of the game. The cast includes Filip Rajmont as Lord Bobkins, Peter Serge Butko as Lord Butfield, Martin Hofman as Lord Remington, Vladimr Polvka as Arthur and Katarna Zatoviov as Lady Woodravov. The recording is directed by Daniel Kupovsk and includes a medley of operetta melodies by Franz Lehr performed by Frantiek Krytof Vesel. It is not suitable for listeners under 15.
