Magick noc (In Memories of The Plastic People) – LP

In 1995, Mejla Hlavsa and Jan Vozry joined forces to give some old songs by the legendary band The Plastic People a new sound. The idea came from Vozry, who moved in different musical circles, while Hlavsa was always open to new challenges. At the time, they were also playing together in the band Fiction and were close personally. Hlavsa was initially slightly nervous about the result, but was pleasantly surprised, praising the recordings preserved rawness and the greater strength and urgency created by Vozrys sound. Vozry even found the original DAT studio recording, which was mastered by Moimir Papalescu at his Analogue Voodoo studio so that it could be released on vinyl for the first time. Three tracks could not be included on the LPJ J /J, to se ti to sp/, Smutn pse/Elegie, and MGM /Metro Goldwin Mayer/but they are available on the CD.
