This Czech-language book presents a collection of significant current decisions by Czech courts concerning family law. As Daniela Kovov, initiator of the project and president of the Union of Family Lawyers, notes, no comparable book publication has practically existed in the Czech legal field; the only available work is decades old and deals only with parent-child relationships. The book covers paternity and maternity, childrens participation rights, sole, joint and alternating parental care, procedural matters, marital property, criminal offences, child abduction, contact arrangements, enforcement of family-law decisions and maintenance. It therefore extends beyond family law itself and provides a broad range of answers to legal questions.
