Bezvznamn ena Wilde Oscar (2022)

This comedy by Oscar Wilde will delight admirers of his plays, which expose the hypocrisy of Englands traditional upper classes through characters trading irresistibly witty observations and double entendres. At a society gathering, the successful, thoroughly cynical and worldly Lord Illingsworth receives a letter which, in his words, was written by a woman of no importance. Thus begins a play that reveals what lies behind societys smiles. Will morality triumph over hypocrisy? The Czech text appears in a translation by J. Z. Novk.
