Bh o ivot King Stephen (2020)

Written by Stephen King under the pseudonym Richard Bachman, this science-fiction novel paints a dark picture of a near-future industrial world not unlike a totalitarian society. The apathetic masses are entertained by a single television channel broadcasting bizarre and depraved contests, the harshest and most popular of which is the Running Man. A chosen individual, in this case Ben Richards, is released into the streets of America as prey. After twelve hours, professional Hunters begin pursuing him, supported by numerous informers among the television viewers. Driven by the promise of a million-dollar reward, the desperate fugitive resorts to the cruellest means to shake off his pursuers.
