Mujina into the Deep, Vol. 1 Asano Inio (2025)

The first volume of an English-language manga is set in a near future where human rights are not guaranteed, but are available for sale. Without rights, you are merely a mujina, with no place to call your own and no laws to protect you. But if the laws do not apply to you, you can do anything you want, provided you have the skills to back it up. Terumi Morgan bitterly accepts that he should not expect much from life. He only wants to meet his work deadlines and watch his pornography in peace, but an unexpected sick day sends him on a collision course with two people who will change his world forever: a runaway child and a thirtysomething mujina assassin. Suddenly, life expects a great deal from him.
